This article summarises the procedures followed in moving saved searches and email alerts from version 1 of FSTA Direct to version 2.
All version 1 searches have been copied to version 2 and have ‘V2′ appended to the search name. Saved Advanced Searches in v1 are unchanged and Saved Quick Searches have been converted to give the same results – apart from the date range limit, which is not available in version 2 Easy Search, but which can be set under Limits in version 2.
Any search configured as an alert in version 1 has now been set to send out alerts using the improved version 2 format.
If you plan to continue using version 1 of FSTA Direct you can still create and edit searches in that interface. Any new searches sat as alerts will be sent using the v1 format. When you are ready to move to v2 contact IFIS to arrange to have all your saved searches and alerts set to v2.
